3. பழியாப் பத்து

(Blameless 10 – This is the third set of 10 poems of the 100. These 10 songs take the tone “If a beggar does not do charity not anyone blames him”)

ஆர்கலி உலகத்து மக்கட்கு எல்லாம் -

This is the starting line for each stanza that means "For all the people who are living in this world surrounded by seas"

1. யாப்பு இலோரை இயல்பு குணம் பழியார்.

I am giving below the meaning in Tamil from a site. Actually I am unable to follow this. The nearest I could come is “The wise would not blame fickle minded people”.

கடல் சூழ்ந்த உலகத்து மக்களெல்லாருக்குள்ளும், ஒரு செய்கையிலும் நிலை இல்லாத இயற்கை குணத்தை அறிஞர் பழிக்கமாட்டார்.

2. மீப்பு இலோரை மீக் குணம் பழியார்.

The wise would not blame the ignoble man for not doing noble acts.

3. பெருமை உடையதன் அருமை பழியார்.

The wise would not blame a good deliverer. (Doer, who can complete the work satisfactorily)

4. அருமை உடையதன் பெருமை பழியார்.

The wise would not blame the (rare) good things.

5. நிறையச் செய்யாக் குறை வினை பழியார்.

The wise would not criticize an incomplete work. (I guess it is work in progress).

6. முறை இல் அரசர் நாட்டு இருந்து பழியார்.

The wise would not blame the country which is ruled by a justice less king!

7. செயத்தக்க நற் கேளிர் செய்யாமை பழியார்.

The wise would not blame the relatives even if they did not do the possible good deeds!

8. அறியாத தேசத்து, ஆசாரம் பழியார்.

The wise would not blame the customs (& traditions) of an new (unknown) country.

9. வறியோன் வள்ளியன் அன்மை பழியார்.

The wise would not blame the poor for not doing charity.

10. சிறியார் ஒழுக்கம் சிறந்தோரும் பழியார்.

The wise would not blame the discipline of a menial mind.

PS; Just as I start this translation work I find either my English language skill is weak or the depth of English language is so poor that its unable to match up with the words in Tamil. The decision is in the minds of the blog readers!
