Chase your passion and not your pension!

"When things go wrong as they sometimes will;

When the road you're trudging seems all uphill;

When the funds are low, and the debts are high

And you want to smile, but have to sigh;

When care is pressing you down a bit

Rest if you must, but do not quit.

Success is failure turned inside out;

The silver tint of the clouds of doubt;

And you can never tell how close you are

It may be near when it seems so far;

So stick to the fight when you're hardest hit

It's when things go wrong that you must not quit."

Working for an organization that over 110 years old, which has just not seen and survived but thrived among 2 world wars, great depressions, multiple cycles of economic fluctations, hundreds of break throughs in communication technology and not just being a witness to the digitization of the world but as a thought leader, a visionary, and a key stake holder in our many of customer's business, you are nothing but inspired especially when the times are tough and the organization is determined to put a fight for its survival and revival.

The results are not great and its easy to sulk and quit. But smooth seas don't produce skilled sailors. As an individual when i retire i want to be known as a skilled sailor and dont want to be review my life and regret for what i have not done. Its not the pension am after but my passion!

I read a critic commenting to the results yesterday "that the chairs are being rearrnaged at the deck of titanic" and chose to ignore it as i also read that "No where in the world there are statues for critics".

I work for Nortel and i cant predict the future, but nothing can take away my efforts and determination to put up a fight! Check the latest ad clip and get inspired!

"The times are tough but so I am,

Iam short on cash but long on hope,

Iam fallin' down to smell the grass,

Iam bouncin back to kick your a**"

Happy Reading!
